Marg and Luka met young and grew up together, and their late May celebration felt like a couple who has always known exactly who they are. It’s a love rooted in best friendship, playful and family-centered at its core, and the intimacy of thirty guests reflected that completely. Everything was chosen with precision and quiet confidence.
Nothing was accidental.
Marg and Luka were, hands down, some of the most fun people I’ve gotten to work with. They have this ease to them, and they were genuinely up for anything. Case in point: when the rain wouldn’t let up, we ended up doing portraits in a parking garage, and it turned into one of my favorite parts of the day. Marg in her sleek Anastasiya Gri gown, backless, high-necked, completely architectural, against all that raw concrete: the contrast was everything.
An elegant ceremony at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross was followed by a rooftop party; a reception with city views atop the Revere Hotel.
Under a clear tent strung with crystal chandeliers and filled with white roses, peonies, and candlelight from Winston Flowers, the city skyline glittered right there beyond the tent walls. A neon sign reading “The Dows” mimicked the city glow.
And Marg and Luka danced on that wet rooftop without a second thought.
