Cecily and Amy began the day together, surrounded by their parents as family heirlooms were placed into their hands. Later, beneath the open sky, they promised to love one another not for who they might become, but exactly as they are. Everything felt spacious and unforced; the gardens, the joyful gathering of friends, and a love with nothing to prove.
