Krystal wasn’t looking to reinvent herself. She was ready to step more fully into the work that was already hers. We used the Alchemy process to explore what had been keeping her small, then created photographs from the other side of that shift.

Taking up Space
I first photographed Krystal more than a decade ago, when she was a new yoga teacher. Since then, I’ve watched her build a thriving studio, train teachers, lead international retreats, and become a respected voice in the wellness world.
She came to Alchemy knowing it was time to step more fully into her own name and her own work. We began with IFS and shamanic energy work, where we met a younger part of her that had learned to stay small. Then we made photographs from the other side of that story: confident, expansive, playful, and entirely her own.
