Laura + Zach
Ballroom of Roses
Zach + Laura

Laura and Zach are the kind of couple who know exactly what they want — and make it happen. Their October black tie wedding at the Mandarin Oriental Boston was a masterclass in vision: grand, warm, deeply rooted in tradition, and shot through with moments of pure theatrical joy.

A night to remember
The festivites began with a ketubah signing, family gathered close, before Laura and her French Bulldog Larz — impeccably dressed in a navy bow tie — made their way down the aisle together. The ceremony took place against a breathtaking floral installation by DiCicco Design: an ombré sweep of blooms cascading from white to blush to deep crimson, flanked by sculptural cherry blossom branches. Laura wore a long-sleeved Monique Lhuillier lace gown — high-necked, intricate, and made for an autumn evening.
The reception transformed the Mandarin’s ballroom into something luminous — Sputnik chandeliers overhead, an ombré rose runner stretching the length of the head table from peach to blush to white, candlelight everywhere. Jewish tradition threaded through the night: the hora, the glass breaking, and the Krentzl dance for Zach’s parents. Laura and her father performed a choreographed dance that brought the house down. Then Zach took the stage with the Sugarbabies and sat down at the drums — and the crowd went absolutely wild.
