Emily

Emily came to me as a woman already standing in her power — a sought-after executive coach, a clear and formidable thinker. What she was moving toward was something older and deeper. We worked over two days in Chicago — shamanic energy work on day one, portraits on day two — going into ancestral territory, clearing wounds that had been carried for generations. She touched her maternal lineage in ways that surprised even her.
What followed the session has been extraordinary. She received messages that sent her on a pilgrimage, and she is now making a documentary about what she found there. The portraits we made that day were the first time she’d ever been photographed in a headscarf — a quiet, significant claiming of her identity as a Jewish mystic stepping more fully into that connection.
This is what the work can do.
