Jess and AJ are brainiacs, having met and fell in love at MIT, they put their relationship to the test having founded and worked at their own start up. They are the ultimate team, and their family is an extension of that shared love and teamwork. These families have traveled the world together, and rallied extra hard for this once in a lifetime wedding. This Boston Public Library Wedding was originally scheduled for June, the same date as AJ’s parents AND grandparents got married on, they decided to move the wedding up to February after AJ’s mom’s cancer progressed. The day took on an even bigger meaning as they not only celebrated AJ + Jess’s union, but also Denise’s life. The hugs, kisses, and toasts full of so much love I thought the room would explode, are something I’ll never forget. I think of this family often, how much love, joy and bravery filled this day. I heard recently from Jess that Denise is at peace now – this day meant so much to her – and it was obvious how proud she was of these two, and how much she adored her children and husband. Sending love to this whole family, and I hope you know what a privileged it was to be included in this day. I’ll never forget it.
Very big thanks to planners extraordinaire Hopple Popple and Winston Flowers for making this day as beautiful as it was memorable.
