I had been counting down the days to Erin + Kevin’s Waterworks Museum Wedding in Brookline, MA ever since I flew out to meet them in person, and do their engagement shoot in a waterfall in Washington State, where they live, last year. These two are up for adventure, and Erin had already noted she was getting flat sandals for that reason exactly. My kind of girl. They made hiking through The Fells in Winchester for their first look effortless.
These two got ready and had their ceremony at Erin’s childhood church, The First Congregational Church in Winchester, where she used to clean the pews as a kid. The church is gorgeous, and made extra special by their streamer exit!
These two went on to party at the industrial and VERY cool Waterworks Museum. I loved the juxtaposition of the large metal machinery and the soft peonies and roses Erin chose to decorate the tables with. This was one heck of a party – Erin and Kevin’s friends love to dance, and I was so jazzed we got to sneak out for sunset on the reservoir. The colors were spectacular.
The pressure was on with this wedding to create something as impressive as their engagement shoot, and between the amazing day we had, this warm family, and Erin’s gorgeous Hayley Paige dress, I’m confident we made magic.
Special Thanks to Liz at Elegant Aura Events, Jonny Havens, and Bre Welch. The best Friendors.
