I pretty much knew this wedding was going to rock so hard, as Dan is the third member of his friend group to get married that I’ve photographed, and I KNOW how these dance floors go now. haha. They are magical. And packed. I met up with these two to talk about their Coppersmith wedding for beers at the venue – and as we looked around the high industrial ceilings, the brick walls, and scoped out the rooftop for the ceremony I could feel my creative juices flowing. Coppersmith is a unique space, and for these two stylish city dwellers was the perfect fit of different and cozy. Katie and Dan got ready at Residence Inn Seaport, where they did their first look with Haddie Pup present for snuggles, and then walked with their family and friends around the Seaport for photos. Nothing makes me more excited than a luxurious amount of time to chill and get creative – so this was a little dream come true.
A rooftop ceremony at Coppersmith and a full bar at their disposal, this crew was ripe for some serious celebrating and dancing. Their friends did not disappoint, and the parent dances was definitely a highlight – these two are surrounded by so much love, it was really fun to witness. Huge high fives to DJ John Beaudette, Florist Christina at Studio 539, and Abby Lorenz for shooting this with me – it was a dream team to be sure.
