Beth & John’s DIY goodness

You know how you have those friends who always wrap your birthday gifts beautifully, with hand made cards and ribbon, and everything is coordinated and you feel bad unwrapping it because it’s just THAT pretty? That gift, was Beth’s wedding. Every time we turned a corner there was another darling detail, and I mean DETAILED detail. She hand stitched the sash that bound her hands with John during the ceremony with all their important dates. She made little ribbon shakers for guests at the ceremony. She did her own flowers and styled all the tables. Beth brings new meaning to the DIY wedding. And for all the passion she has for her creative endeavors, it is still unmatched by her passion for John. These two goofballs had a smile from ear to ear from the moment they saw each other and lasted long past their dancing and photobooth.

Their Longlook Farm wedding in Sanbornton, NH was so much fun: laid back, stunning scenery, self-pump kegs in bathtubs, and a dessert table as long as the eye can see. These two did it right. Take a look!

Also stay tuned: I’ve asked Beth to do a little Tutorial on our Boston Betrothed blog on how she made those custom hair pieces: they were made from her mother’s dress, and scraps from both her sister’s and her own Vera Wang wedding dress.
